Although not an “art” museum, it’s still interesting to go and see these giant rockets, shuttles, and planes that people created to send people up into the air.
All those stories about how brave the astronauts were all true. As you stand in from of these giant monstrosities, you begin to notice how shoddy and poorly put together they look. They’re not smooth and round like TV suggests. They are all blocky, with pieces sticking out, and uneven surfaces that look poorly weilded together. I’d be crying if I had to go into outer space in one of these dang contraptions.
Still, it’s fun to check out this stuff, along with all the airplanes and helicopters they have. The museum has a large collection of space suits they used throughout the years, which is fun to check out too. Not to mention, the gift shop has space ice cream
I took pictures of the pretty looking ones. You can eye them up below.

Last weekend was the Pittsburgh Air Show. People from all over the city flock to Moon Township to watch all different kinds of planes and helicopters do amazing stunts.
We began our adventure on Sunday afternoon, around 1:30. On the way, we decided we better stop and get something to eat. After a number five combo at Wendy’s we were again on our way! We pulled into the parking lot, got out, and started to follow the huge line of people walking somewhere. We had no idea where to go, but figured that we should just follow everyone else and we’d find out eventually.
We walked out onto the main road, and began heading back towards the Wendy’s we just came from. After about a good twenty minutes of walking, we stopped and asked some random guy who was walking behind us where the hell this airshow was. Turns out the airshow ended about a half hour beforehand, and we were walking to the bus station along with everyone else.
