Here is a short bio about the authors of this blog.
I hate writing about myself. Who really knows who there are? I can write the basic info that no one cares about and get off easy, or I can tell you the truth. It’s easier for me to write about beliefs.
I don’t believe in television. The biggest thing on TV is reality shows. How bad can society be when people are more interested to watch other people’s lives than manage their own? It’s all run by companies that are concerned about money. If they can have a show with no plot and no script and still push their 40 or so adds per half hour, whats to stop them? There is almost never anything new or exciting on television, and no one does anything about it.
I don’t believe in dressing up to go out. I dress up when I go to work. Why would I not want to be relaxed when I’m not there?
I don’t believe in how sports are portayed. There is so many stats, advertisments, songs, and whatever on the screen that it’s almost impossible to focus on what’s going on. Players get payed millions of dollars to basically do nothing exceptional with their lives. With all the uncountable other hobbies you can do that push yourself to be a better person, why pick the only hobby that offers no imagination or thinking? Liking sports is a sellout hobby.
I don’t believe in fitting in for the sake of fitting in. If we don’t have common interests, thats fine, but I don’t conform just for someone to like me. If I come off as shy, it’s because I have nothing of interest to bring to the conversation. If I’m talking about something I’m passionate about, I can talk for hours.
I think being creative is the absolute most important thing a person can do to contribute to society. Without creativity, everything becomes stagnent.
I am a generally fun and happy person, but I don’t put up with people bringing me down, and I will let you know immediately.
I’m a 25 year old. I like painting, art, music, and designing. I play guitar in a band called Doughnuts in November. I create Freelance T Shirts, Fliers, Children’s Books… anything having to do with design and that I feel is interesting. I think working at a big company in their design firm making flow charts and presentations all day is a waste of talent.
